How can one create and record personal bathymetric maps in real-time using the device?

You can create and record your own real-time bathymetric maps using either the Genesis Live or SonarChart Live functions, depending on the map type. For Genesis Live (with Lowrance or C-MAP cards), insert a microSD® card with free space; Genesis Live then creates a depth line overlay from live readings, automatically saving data to the card (works up to 20 knots). Activate it from the map window's 'Superposition sur carte' menu. For SonarChart Live (with Navionics cards), enable the 'SonarChart Live' overlay from the map menu to create real-time depth line overlays from your readings. You can also record raw sonar data files via the 'Log sondeur' dialog.
