Choix du type de blindage
Le type de blindage définit également les performances du câble. Il permet une protection contre les
perturbations extérieures, la diaphonie, le return loss (pertes de retour), l’atténuation et le délai de
propagation des données.

Qualité de raccordement
Le choix des cordons Channel ou Générique dépend des composants sur lesquels ils doivent se raccorder.
Le cordon Générique garantit une utilisation avec des performances optimales quel que soit le type ou la marque
d’embases et de noyaux utilisés sur l’installation.

Blindage
général
Choix de la Gaine Extérieure
2 types de gaines sont proposés dans les câblages courants faibles :
Gaines PVC (Polychlorure de vinyle)
Le PVC est utilisé dans les câblages en raison de son faible coût et de sa performance au feu acceptable.
En revanche il dégage de la fumée et des gaz toxiques lorsqu'il brûle.
Gaines LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
Le LSOH est le plus recommandé car il permet la non propagation de la flamme selon la norme CEI 60332-3-24
avec une performance au feu renforcée. Il ne dégage pas de gaz toxiques.
