What are the requirements for installing the LDL220 inductive conductivity sensor in a pipe using a T-piece?

The sensor should be aligned in the direction of the flow to prevent air bubbles and deposits. It is best installed in a rising pipe, maintaining a distance of 3 to 5 times the pipe diameter (DN) from bends or valves. Avoid using clamp adaptations if optimal flow is required.

What are the installation recommendations for a T-piece sensor?

Regarding the use of a T-piece (t-stuk) connection for mounting, for the LDL220 hygienic inductive conductivity sensor, mounting in a Clamp adapter should be avoided if optimal flow through the measuring path is to be ensured. For mounting in pipes, the measuring path must be aligned in the direction of flow to ensure constant flow, avoid deposits and air bubble formation. It is recommended to preferably mount upstream or in a rising pipe, providing sufficient suction and discharge distances (minimum 3 x DN, optimum 5 x DN) to compensate for interference due to bends, valves and diameter reductions.

How to install a T-piece (t-stuk) for the conductivity sensor?

Align the measurement path with the flow direction to ensure constant flow and avoid air bubbles. For pipe mounting, it is recommended to install upstream or in a rising pipe, maintaining a distance of 3x to 5x DN from bends, valves, or diameter reductions.
