How is the frictional/cohesive nature of soil defined within the software?
The frictional/cohesive nature of soil is defined in the 'Layers' tab, within the 'Foundation Soil Classification' section. When using the 'EC7 – NF.P 94-261 Standard', you need to select the 'Type of behavior' (Frictional, Cohesive, or Intermediate). If 'Intermediate' is chosen, you'll need to provide cohesion, friction angle, and net unit weight data.
