How should the dishwasher be cleaned?

To clean the dishwasher, here are the maintenance instructions provided:

  1. Cleaning the waste filters (regularly): Remove waste from the large main filter using a sponge. Unscrew the waste filter a quarter turn and remove it. Remove the main filter and the micro-filter screen. Clean all these elements thoroughly under running water. Reassemble them in reverse order (micro-filter, main filter, then waste filter) and ensure the waste filter is securely locked by turning it a quarter turn all the way.
  2. Periodic cleaning (every 3 or 4 months): Run a cycle with the hottest program « INTENSIF 70°C » empty, using a commercially available special dishwasher cleaning product.
  3. Routine surface cleaning: Use a cloth or sponge. Never use abrasive powders, metal sponges, or alcohol or thinner-based products.
  4. In case of prolonged shutdown: Completely clean the appliance, disconnect the power supply, close the water inlet tap, and protect the appliance from freezing.
